Circuit Court Cases Resolved – August 7
Below is a sampling of cases that were resolved in the Circuit Court of Pettis County Law Day on Aug. 7, 2017.
Dustin A. Lappat: age 35, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to concurrent terms of 7, 7 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on three separate matters (1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance [clonazepam], 1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance [tramadol hydrochloride], and 1 count Resisting/Interfering with Arrest). In addition, the defendant’s probation was revoked on a separate matter and he was was ordered to serve a previously imposed 4 year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Clarence E. Harvey: age 28, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine).
Michael A. Baez: age 35, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to six 7 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on six separate matters (2 counts Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 2 counts Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree and 2 counts of Abuse and Neglect of a Child). In addition, defendant’s probation was revoked on a separate matter and he was ordered to serve a previously imposed 7 year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Brendan Vanwinkle: age 39, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to terms of 7 and 3 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after his probation was revoked on two separate matters.
Latara Buckner: age 27, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine).
Jamie Almanza Meza: age 38, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident.
Jacob L. Etter: age 20, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to concurrent terms of 10 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections under 559.115 on two separate matters (1 count Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of a Weapon).
Angie L. Wirtz: age 38, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Diazepam).
Hester Williams: age 40, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked.
