City Notes Stormwater Work on East Broadway Starting July 15

The eastbound lane of E. Broadway Blvd. from South Engineer Ave. to South Center Ave. will be restricted to one lane of traffic from Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 26.

However, the intersection S. Wagner Ave. will remain open for through traffic. Heavy equipment and personnel will be in the area working on a stormwater improvement project. It was determined the safest alternative was to close the eastbound lane during this period to allow for the work to be completed safely and timely.

Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. This work is weather dependent and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled to a later date.

The work was postponed from last week due to the weather.
