Moniteau County authorities arrested a 26-year old Clarksburg woman this week for possession of methamphetamine.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says on Tuesday (March 5), deputies responded to Clarksburg for a report of possible drug activity.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a male subject standing by the roadway. He stated there were people using drugs inside the trailer at the location he was at and a woman had left just prior to deputies' arrival.

Deputies made contact with the subjects inside the trailer and reportedly obtained a consent to search. Authorities discovered methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A short time later, deputies located the woman, identified as 26-year old Jennica L. Weed, who had previously left. She reportedly admitted the methamphetamine belonged to her.

Weed was arrested and taken to the Moniteau County Jail, for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth). She was also found to have a warrant from Lafayette County. Total bond was set at $32,500.00.
