Clinton Teen Injured in Cass County Rollover

A Clinton teen was injured in a rollover accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2000 Chevy Cavalier, driven by a 17-year-old female from Clinton, was on Highway B, west of Highway F just before 4 p.m., when the driver swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. The Chevy then ran off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.

A 14-year-old male in the vehicle suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Garden City EMS to Cass County Regional Medical Center.

The Chevy was totaled.
