Columbia Woman Killed in Pettis County Rollover
A Columbia woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Monday evening northwest of Sedalia.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2023 Nissan Rogue, driven by 64-year-old Pamela J. Holbrook of Columbia, was on Walnut Grove Road, north of Little Muddy Road (northeast of Dresden) around 7 p.m., when the Nissan crossed the center line and ran off the left side of the road. The left rear of the vehicle struck a bridge abutment and then came to rest on its right side in the roadway.
Holbrook was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Pennington at 7:16 p.m. It was unknown if Holbrook was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The body was taken to Heckart Funeral Home.
Pettis County Deputies assisted the three Troopers on scene.
The Nissan was totaled and towed by Don's Truck Towing.
