An outdoor community resource block party is planned for Tuesday afternoon in Downtown Sedalia.

A press release from the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce says that community resources will be represented from 20 area agencies.

The block party will take place at the Missouri Valley Community Action Agency parking lot, located at 505 South Kentucky Avenue, from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The press release states that many agency representatives will have information tables set-up. The MVCAA Head Start recruitment team will have a sign-up sheet for Head Start at their table. Food will be provided for those attending.

Other community agencies that are attending include, the Center for Human Services, Open Door Ministries, Summer Food in the Park (providing a meal for attendees), Katy Trail Community Health, Fathers Committed to Families, Sedalia Housing Authority, Four Seasons, Veterans In-Home Care, Missouri Job Center, Care Connection, Home State Health, Pettis County Fire District, Sedalia Police Department, United Way, Vocational Rehabilitation, Pettis County Community Health Department, Women’s Wellness, BACA and CACTUS.

If it rains, the event will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the MVCAA location.
