Curtis E. Pyle, 56, of Sedalia passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at his home.  He was born on October 14, 1957 in Bremerton, WA, a son of Charles Curtis and Patricia Rose (Kindle) Pyle, who preceded him in death.

On April 15, 2010 in Independence, MO he was united in marriage to Barbara (White) Pyle, who survives of the home.

He enjoyed fishing with his grandson, gardening and spending time with his family. Curtis served his country honorably in the US Navy.

Besides his parents and his wife, he is survived by two children, Andy Pyle (Jessica) of Sedalia and Jeremy White of Osage Beach; one grandson, Paxton Pyle of Sedalia; two sisters, Debra Brewer (John) of Windsor and Christy Pyle of Sedalia; three brothers, Mike Pyle (Renee), Kirby Pyle and Kerry Pyle (Theresa), all of Sedalia.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sedalia with Rev. Corbett Martin officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, September 5, 2014 at the VFW Post 2591, Sedalia.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the family for funeral expenses, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
