
Deputy Parham Receives Peace Officer, Commissioner of the Year Awards
On Tuesday, March 18, Pettis County Community Interaction Deputy Larry Parham, who also serves as a Commissioner for the Sedalia Housing Authority, was awarded the Peace Officer and Commissioner of the Year awards by the Missouri Chapter of the National Association of Housing Redevelopment Officials (MONAHRO).
The awards, presented at the Missouri Chapter's annual spring training conference in Branson, recognized Deputy Parham's contributions to community safety and affordable housing advocacy. He was nominated by Sedalia Housing Executive Director James Halliburton.
Deputy Parham has been a steadfast advocate for affordable housing, both locally and on a national stage in Washington D.C. His dedication to improving community welfare and housing conditions has made a significant impact in Sedalia and Pettis County.
The Peace Officer of the Year award highlights Deputy Parham's role in fostering trust and collaboration between law enforcement and the community, while the Commissioner of the Year award acknowledges his leadership and advocacy in housing development and policy.
