Donna J. Johnston, 76, of Windsor, Missouri, died Sunday evening, November 17, 2013, at her home in Windsor.

She was born on September 7, 1937, in Lincoln, Mo., the daughter of Troy Kenneth Craig and June Beatrice (Rural) Craig. On November 17, 1956, she married William “Bill” Duncan and they were the parents of 3 children. On May 18, 1974, in Clinton, Mo., she married James Arthur Johnston and they were the parents of a son. James preceded her in death on October 16, 2011.

Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker and a caregiver for families in and around the Windsor area for many years. She graduated from Cole Camp High School, Cole Camp, Mo. She was a member of the Windsor Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, William T. Duncan and his wife Cindy, Jonesburg, Mo.; Jason T. Johnston and his wife Wendy, Windsor, Mo.; a daughter, Pennie L. Paxton, Windsor, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Irene Hayward. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lou Morgan; a granddaughter, Phylura Jane Morgan; 2 brothers, Kenny Craig and Tommy Craig.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2013, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, with Pastor Jim Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.  The family has set up a memorial fund for funeral expenses and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
