According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department at 12:44 this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police Department Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Criminal Investigations Bureau along with Patrol Officers and a K9 Unit, accompanied by Detectives and Pettis County  Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department executed a no-knock, drug related search warrant at 3001 Meadow Wood Drive. Upon arrival forced entry was made into the residence, and five adults and one juvenile were located in the residence, and detained.

 

Once the residence was secured the K9 handler performed a sniff of the residence with his narcotics K9. The press release states the K9 alerted on numerous places throughout the residence. A detailed search of the residence revealed a significant amount of methamphetamine and marijuana along with controlled prescription medication, drug paraphernalia, and drug packaging supplies and materials. Additional evidence was gathered that reportedly indicated marijuana, and methamphetamine were being distributed by a subject living in the residence. The search also revealed nearly $1000 in cash, which was seized as suspected profits from drug sales.

 

Following the investigation two of the adults were arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail where they were placed on 24-hour hold pending bonds and court dates. Arrested at the scene were 36-year-old Benjamin T. Delinger, and 40-year-old Jennifer L. Woolery both of Sedalia. Both suspects are facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment 1st degree and unlawful transaction with a child. Delinger also faces charges of drug trafficking 2nd degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled substance ( controlled prescription medications.)
