An Edwards woman was injured in a Benton County crash on Monday afternoon.

According to the MSHP, 20-year-old Tana A. Malotte of Lincoln was the driver of a northbound 2010 Nissan on a Truman Dam Access Road and an off ramp of US 65 Highway, when she failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a westbound Chevy Blazer driven by 72-year-old Daniel D. Lampton of Edwards at 4:03 p.m. The Blazer rolled on its side before coming to rest on all four tires. All three occupants were wearing a safety device, the report said.

His passenger, 66-year-old Lawana G. Lampton of Edwards suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment.

The Blazer was totaled while the Nissan had extensive damage.
