Warsaw Man Injured When Lincoln Town Car Overturns
A Warsaw man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2000 Lincoln Town Car, driven by 84-year-old Edward T. Schepker of Warsaw, was on Cold Springs Avenue, south of Highway 7 around 2:15 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway and strike an embankment, where it overturned, coming to rest on its top.
Schepker suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Lincoln was totaled and towed by Tolliver's.
Warsaw Fire and Benton County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
