Eight-year-old Boy Killed In LOTO Boating Accident

An eight-year-old boy from Waynesville died in a boating accident that happened Saturday afternoon at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2017 Playcraft Tritoon was eastbound on the lake at the six-mile marker of the Grand Glaize Arm around 3:40 p.m.,when an eight-year-old boy exited the rear of the vessel, and was struck by the propeller.

The boy was pronounced dead at 4:52 p.m. by Camden County Medical Examiner Joya Kuntzman.

The boat was piloted by 34-year-old Timmy Isaac of Waynesville.

Osage Beach Fire assisted the four Troopers on scene.
