Eldon Man Killed in Miller County Crash

An Eldon man died Monday evening in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Miller County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2000 Dodge Caravan, driven by 44-year-old Kevin L. Reeves of Eldon, was on Route M, west of Adams Road, operating on its rims just after 5:30, when it left the roadway on the right side, returned to the roadway, then ran off the left side and impacted a tree.

Reeves was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:18 p.m. by Miller County Paramedic Aaron Steenbergen. Reeves was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report. The body was taken to Rekus Millard Funeral Home.

The Dodge was totaled.
