Electrical Work Planned For South Engineer

Evergy has notified the City of Sedalia that on Friday morning, Aug. 6 beginning at midnight and continuing through 5 a.m., South Engineer Avenue will be restricted to one lane of traffic between East 9th Street and East 16th Street to allow for electric utility work in the area.

Travelers may want to plan on using an alternate route during this period as South Engineer Avenue will be narrowed down to a single lane.

The work is weather and equipment dependent and as such may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns the City noted.
