Enjoy Regional, Wine, Beer and Spirits While You Shop in the Burg
Sip and shop this Saturday in downtown Warrensburg with Warrensburg Mainstreet and the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce.
You've heard of wine walks or pub crawls, right? Well this is Warrensburg Mainstreet and the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce's take on that. It's Come, Sip, Shop this Saturday in downtown Warrensburg. But instead of a wine walk or a pub crawl you can check out regional wines, spirits and beers in ten retail locations downtown.
The following will be providing some of the wines, beers and sprits you can try: Big Oak Winery, Boulevard Brewing Co., Dale Hollow Winery, Phantom V, Primitive Winery, Schafly Brewing Company, Terra Beau Winery and more.
Check in for the event will take place in the Jack Moore Community Room at the Chamber of Commerce / Warrensburg Amtrak Station between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants will receive a glass for the tasting and a map outlining the stroll. The first 100 registrants will also receive a T-Shirt.
Drinks will start pouring downtown at Noon and participants are encouraged to try the different spirits, wines and beers available at the various stops. Will sampling, participants can browse the local stores and shop.
Participants in "Come, Sit, Shop" must be 21 years old. Tickets are $20 in advance and can be purchased at the Warrensburg Main Street website. There may be some limited availability of tickets on the day of the event. Tickets on the day of the event will be $25.
If you're looking to make a day of it, don't forget the Warrensburg Farmers' Market is happening around the Johnson County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The market is a great place to find some fantastic local produce and craft vendors.
