Female Juvenile Injured After SUV Strikes Building in Benton

A 16-year-old juvenile was moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday night in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2009 Ford Escape, driven by a 16-year-old female from Warsaw, was on Missouri 7, south of Cedar Grove Avenue (west of Warsaw) at 8:25 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and struck a building.

The teen was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment by Warsaw Lincoln Ambulance.

The Ford had extensive damage.

Benton County Deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
