The Fireball Run is off and running on their opening weekend. The race started on Sept. 26 in Frisco, Texas and will make it's way to Independence, Missouri on Saturday, October 4, 2014.

The Sedalia Trailblazers are having a great time so far and photographer, Kevin Walker is also riding along with the Fireball Run Crew.

"We're having a blast," said Kevin Walker. "There's lots of running around. So Sedville needs to be ready for all the insanity that's heading its way."

Each team will have contests that they need to do in order to earn points all in an effort to get a license plate and bring awareness to helping bring home leads and hopefully ultimately find missing children.

The Fireball Run will be in Sedalia on Friday, October 3.At 5:30 p.m. in Downtown Sedalia, there will be a Fireball run Parade to the finish line, school bands, surprise entertainment, classic car show, and a bounce house. At 7:00 p.m. there will be a block party with live music from the Full Moon Band and Ruckus, beer garden, food vendors, and a 50/50 drawing.  The next morning at 9:00 a.m. there will be a Green Flag Start.

Each day you can watch the Fireball Run online.
