Five Arrested in Moniteau County Checkpoint Operation

Authorities in Moniteau County recently conducted a Checkpoint Operation and arrested five people on felony offenses.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department conducted the checkpoint June 6, where deputies arrested:

40-year old Tamara Augustin, of LaMonte for warrants that included Passing Bad Checks in Pettis and Howell Counties and Driving While Revoked.

24-year old Ronald E. Lee Jr., of Jefferson City, for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana).

44-year old John C. Dowell, of California, MO for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth).

42-year old Christopher E. Buckingham, of Versailles, MO for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana).

36-year old Lambert S. Howell, of Jefferson City, for Delivery of Controlled Substance (marijuana).
