Free Summer Swimming on Hot Summer Nights from Sedalia Parks

Updated: Sedalia Parks and Rec have added a bunch more swimming nights to the original list. And Awesome 92.3 will be sponsoring one of the free swim nights at Centennial Pool. The list below has been updated. 

Throughout the summer Sedalia Parks & Recreation will be holding free swims thanks to different local Sedalia businesses.

The free swimming nights are made possible by various local Sedalia area businesses who are sponsoring the evenings. Townsquare Media / Awesome 92.3 will be sponsoring one of the nights of free swimming at Centennial Pool. Our sponsored swim will be on Monday July 12.

Here are some other related pool events scheduled throughout the summer. These events may require you to have a pool pass, or pay admission to be a part of these events:

• Friday June 18 8:00PM - 11:00PM CDT Swimming Under The Stars at Liberty Pool. $2.00 admission or show your pool pass.
• Saturday June 26 at 8:30PM CDT Dive in Movie at Centennial Pool. Admission is $5.00 per person. The concession stand will be selling your favorite snacks. Movie will start at approximately 9:00PM CDT. ("Lilo and Stitch" is the movie.)
• Sunday July 4 Picnic in the Park at 11:00AM. Centennial Park. Free hot dogs, chips and a drink one per person. Full Moon Band will perform. Centennial Pool will be open 11:00AM - 5:00PM CDT with half price admission. Fee admission for Active Military and Veterans with ID.
• Friday July 9 8:00PM - 11:00PM CDT Swimming Under The Stars at Liberty Pool. $2.00 admission or slow your pool pass.
• Friday July 23 at 8:30PM CDT Dive in Movie at Centennial Pool. Admission is $5.00 per person. Theme is Christmas in July. Santa will be selling snow cones for 50 cents. ("Elf" is the movie.)
• Saturday July 24 at 9:00AM CDT Cardboard Boat Races at Centennial Pool. For ages 7 - 11. Max 2 people for boat. Cost is $10.00 per boat entered. Specific rules and guidelines exist for this event. More details can be found here.
