Funeral Annnouncements for April 12, 2024

Memorial service for Richard Alvin “Rick” Carver, 61, of Sedalia, will be at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. 

Memorial service for Elizabeth Jean Phillips, 86, of Sedalia will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m., until service time.

Memorial service for Susan Mitchell Callis, 89, of Sedalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13 at Calvary Episcopal Church. Inurnment will follow in the Calvary Episcopal Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m., until services at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Dorothy Joann Rages, 78, of Florence, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Heckart Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13 at the funeral home.

Funeral service for Luther H. Jordan, 86, of Sedalia, will be ay 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m., until service time. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Sara Beth Shireman, 44, of Sedalia, will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Rose Marie (Allison) Dick, 70, of Tipton, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton. Private burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.

No services are planned at this time for Salvador Mendoza, 73, of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Phyllis Raylene Cornine, 84, of Nelson, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

The family of Gladys Irene “Tootsie” Durrill, 80, of Sedalia, will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16 at 10 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Hickory Point Cemetery.

A family gathering for Arthur Gudoshnikov, 21, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
