Funeral Announcements for January 19, 2024

A celebration of life for Lisa Kay Swords, 68, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th Street.

Prayers of the Rosary for Mary “Wilma” Embrey, 93, of Pilot Grove, will begin at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with visitation to follow until 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.

Funeral service for Stella Marie Huffman, 89, of Littleton, Colo., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Linda Kay Turner, 67, of Sedalia, will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Graveside service for Goldie M. Hamel, 97, of Polo, formerly of Sedalia, will be Friday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Sedalia. Friends may call Friday morning at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Annette Marie Dudek Barnes, age 58, Lee's Summit, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at Heckart Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time.

The family of Jack Anthony Richardson, 59, of Sedalia, formerly of Clinton, will have a private celebration of life to be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Burial for June Doris Depew, 97, of Sedalia, will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are pending at this time for Lanty Ray McGaugh, 63, of Sedalia. Inurnment will be held later at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

Visitation for William ‘Mack’ Parrish, 70, of Sedalia, will begin at 11 with a Memorial service to follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at Heckart Funeral Home.
