This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On Tuesday, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office took a report from Rusty Ream of Sedalia, who said that someone entered his shop and and house under construction overnight and stole several items. An investigation continues.


 

On Monday at 10 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to a physical disturbance at 30625 Ball Road. While responding, deputies learned that the male subject left the residence on foot. The subject was identified as Travis Alexander Lawson, who was known to law enforcement and was known to have multiple active warrants for his arrest. Deputies were able to track Lawson's footprints through the snow, which led them to a separate trailer. Deputies obtained consent to search the trailer and subsequently located Lawson hiding in a bedroom. Lawson was taken into custody on three active no-bond warrants and one $7500 warrant. Lawson was also held pending new charges of 1st degree burglary and 3rd degree assault.


 

On Sunday around 3:40 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to 27533 Schenk Road for a disturbance. Caller stated that her husband hit her and that she was bleeding. The deputies were advised that the victim, Carmen Sindelar, was at her mother's residence on the same property. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Carmen Sindelar. She said she had been assaulted by her husband William Sindelar. Deputies noticed that Carmen was bleeding from a cut over her left eye. William Sindelar was contacted by deputies and taken into custody. William Sindelar resisted arrested, according to the report. He was charged with 2nd degree assault and resisting arrest.


 

On Sunday around 2:55 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to the 30000 block of Tebo Road for a domestic disturbance. Subsequently, 31-year-old Shawn Brown was arrested on four active Pettis County warrants, totaling $74,000. Brown was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Saturday, Pettis County Deputies took a theft report in the 230000 block of Hall Road, involving the theft of two pair of shoes.


 

On Saturday, Petis County Deputies had an abandoned vehicle towed in the 280000 block of Route U.


On Friday at 8:19 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to the 2900 block of James Road for a warrant service. His bond amount was $1500 cash or surety.


 

On Friday at 3:36 p.m., the Pettis County Sheriff's Office took a theft report. An air conditioner and battery charged was taken sometime between July and November of 2020.
