Funeral Announcements for April 26, 2019

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends for Steven "Poppy" Lee Kettle, 67, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral chapel.

Memorial services for Freida Louise Brown, 66, Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Parkview Christian Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 26 at Heckart Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Sacred Gardens.

There will be no services held for Connie Anne Janney, 71 of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Mericia Mae Wilbanks, 19, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Celebration Center.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Celebration Center, 1701 W. 32nd.

A funeral service for Raymond Duwayne Widel, 85, of Cole Camp, formerly of Blackwater, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Blackwater School. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time at Blackwater School. Private family burial will take place at Lamine Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of James Briggs Rice, Jr., 78, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center, followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Pittsville Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Army and VFW Post 2591.
