Funeral Announcements for August 24, 2023

Funeral service for  Nancy Jo Gee, 82, of Fortuna, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial service for Jeffrey Scot Cokely, 61, of Tipton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at First United Methodist Church, 201 Monroe Street, Jefferson City, with military honors to follow. The service will be live-streamed on the First United Methodist Church Facebook page and available later on the First United Methodist Church’s YouTube channel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Crematory.

Cremation arrangements for David Ricky Bowman Sr., 71, of Versailles, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Amanda Michelle May, 41, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Community of Christ Church, 2000 S. Ingram. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Randall Theodore Blankenship, 87, of Sedalia, will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 at Memorial Baptist Church, 13998 State Highway Z, Nelson, Mo. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Union Cemetery, Northeast Pettis County, on Highway N. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A gathering of family and friends for Vicki Mae Fry, 63, of Bunceton, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Heckart Funeral Home.

A private service will be held for Ellen Marie Cope, 74, of Sedalia. Friends may sign the guest book from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, and Friday, Aug. 25, at Heckart Funeral Home.
