Funeral Announcements for December 24, 2024

Arrangements for Dale Wayne Slaughter Sr., 73, of Sedalia, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Earl Wayne South, 82, of Sedalia, will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 12 p.m., at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Services at Campbell & Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, Ill. are pending.

A graveside celebration of life for Ed Colvin, 49, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. January 3 at Highland Sacred Gardens. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial for Carole Jean Salmon, 82, of Jefferson City, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
