Funeral Announcements for February 7, 2022

Funeral service for Louis Edward Richey, 72 , of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Terry G. Couts, 65, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

A graveside service for Delores Bertha Schumacher, 74, Belton, formerly of Cole Camp, will be held in the spring of 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Cole Camp. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Marguerite "Margie" Mabel Gerken, 93, of Cole Camp, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cole Camp. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for John Roy Hicks Jr., 73, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.

Funeral service for Donald Joe Chapin, 90, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, with full military honors conducted by Whiteman Air Force Base Honors Team and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

The family of Melba June Merrick, 83 of Sedalia, will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, face masks are suggested.  Private family burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery later.
