Funeral Announcements for July 19, 2021

A memorial service for Genice Cordelia Sims, 73, of Sedalia, will be held on Wednesday, July 21 at 4 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Graveside services for George William Brady, Jr. 93, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 2591 and US Army. Friends may pay their respects and sign the guestbook from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Heckart Funeral Home..

Visitation for William Robert Long, 73, of Lee’s Summit, formerly of Sedalia, will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral services for Alma L. Weikal, 91, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at First Christian Church. Burial will be in La Monte Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. July 20, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. The family kindly asks those attending services to please wear a mask for everyone’s protection.

Mass of Christian Burial for Sonja C. Corcoran, 80, of Sedalia, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m.
