We have had some mild temperatures for this time of year and it looks like we're going to have a chance of snow later this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Today (Dec. 15), the weather may move from 60 degree weather to 48 by 5 pm. The winds are expected to gust up to 30 mph. There may even be a chance at some funnel clouds coming into play, according to Sedalia/Pettis County EMA Director, David Clippert.

We have a chance for some non-severe storms today. Pettis County is in an area where we could possibly see some funnel clouds today. These funnels should not result in a tornado, but we will keep an eye on them. This is just a heads up.

We'll keep up with the forecasts with Weathereye through the day on Newstalk 1050 KSIS/92.3 Bob-FM and Better Country KIX 105.
