Gremlin Volleyball Ends Regular Season With Win at Otterville

Sacred Heart Volleyball wrapped up the regular season with a win over Kaysinger Conference opponent Otterville.

The Gremlins won set one 25-15 and set two 25-18. The JV split a two-set match, 21-25 & 25-15.

Grace Goodwin had seven kills in 13 swings with 0 errors, to hit .538 for the night. She also contributed nine digs.

Emma Siron had 12 kills in 17 swings. After errors, she hit.470.

Varsity finishes the regular season with a record of 16-10-3 and 8-2 in Conference Play.
Junior Varsity finishes the season with a record of 8-7-1.

Sacred Heart Varsity Starts Class 1, District 11 play next week.

The Lady Gremlins will play at 5 p.m. Wednesday. They will go up against the winner of Smithton vs Osceola, in the Semi-Finals. The winner of that contest will advance to the finals later that evening.

Class 1 District 11 is being hosted by Sacred Heart. First-round games start Monday. At 5 p.m., 2 seed Green Ridge takes on 7 seed Lakeland.

The 6 p.m. contest pits #4 Osceola vs #5 Smithton. In the 7 p.m. match 3 seed Lincoln plays 6 seed Otterville (9-17-1).

The junior high volleyball team traveled to Otterville.

The A team won both sets. They won the first set 25-15, and the second set 25-13. This brings their record to 8-6.

The B team tied their match. They lost the first set 8-25, but won the second set 25-20. This brings their record to 4-2-3.
