Halloween Parties Show Appreciation for S-C JROTC Cadets
Story & photos by Angela Allen, S-C CAPS student & Townsquare Intern
The spooky season is coming up, and Halloween is here!
What better way for JROTC to celebrate than by hosting company Halloween parties, showing our cadets appreciation, and giving them a fun-filled day?
The cadets that you see in some of these photos have worked hard to be in here on account that these cadets only get to participate if they have good grades and show they have the dedication to do so.
The reason we do this is so our cadets feel appreciated and they can see for themselves that what they do doesn't go unnoticed.
We love all of our kids, even when they don't meet the expectations, we give them time to work on them.
Outside of this, our cadets know that if they are struggling, they can get a hold of other kids in the program to help, and if it runs deeper, they can bring it up to our instructors.
Our cadets know from day one what they are getting into, and they know this program holds them to a higher standard. They know that all anyone wants in the program is to watch them succeed in life.
This is one of many parties/celebrations our battalion holds to reward its kids. I love seeing everyone in here and can't wait for many more to come. I hope that these cadets now see that they are very loved and appreciated here.
Thank you, Alpha, Bravo and Charlie Company, for allowing me to take pictures of your companies.
Thank you, KSIS, for making these articles possible!
As always, GO JROTC TIGERS!
