
Go Experience ‘Misery’ at the Hayden Liberty Center
The Hayden Liberty Center at 111th W 5th Street, will present Misery by William Goldman based on the novel by Stephen King at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 23, 24, & 25 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Misery by William Goldman, based on the novel by Stephen King, follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “Number One Fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home.
While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads the manuscript to his newest novel and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain.
Annie forces Paul to write a new “Misery” novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on it, and if he does not make her deadline, it will.
Paul Sheldon is played by Matt Dillon, while Annie Wilkes is played by Cassie Brown.
Sheriff Buster (Olivia J. Smith) stays busy solving crimes in Silver Lake, Colorado.

Tickets are $17, $15 and $12 per person.
There are also 16 seats available on stage, on a first-come, first seated basis.
