‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ opens Thursday night at Liberty Center
"One Man, Two Guvnors" will be presented at the Hayden Liberty Theatre Feb. 26, 27 & 28, and March 1.
The play, set in 1963, is widely regarded as one of the funniest comedies ever, thanks to its high-energy physical comedy, crackling banter, and the clever writing by Richard Bean, the Liberty Center Association for the Arts said.
The play's fast-paced plot and the comedic situations that arise from Francis Henshall's attempts to serve two masters add to its comedic value.
“The play's ability to break the fourth wall and engage the audience in a way that is both entertaining and interactive is a testament to its success,” the LCAA said.
The play is directed by Jeremy Lobaugh and features a cast of 13 fine actors.
Some of those actors include Gary Lobaugh, Christopher Clark, Megan Carrillo, Kennedy Keele, Anna Smith, Matthew Dillon, Jessica Jones, Jim Ritzo, Richard Bahner and Matthew Hickey.
