Heber Hunt Student Wins First Grade School Art Contest

Heber Hunt Elementary School student Christina Kondratyuk displays her winning piece in the First Student school bus art contest.

Christina was recognized at the Jan. 27 Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education meeting by Connie Miller, First Student Location Manager for Sedalia, who presented Christina with a certificate, a framed copy of her winning entry and a $25 Walmart gift card.

Shown with Christina are, back row from left, First Student District Manager Tyfani Nagy, Miller, and Heber Hunt art teacher Heidi Pollard. Christina's win also brought a $1,000 donation for art supplies for Pollard's classroom.
