Thanksgiving is next Thursday (Nov. 28), and a lot of people have been putting together the family gatherings and watching the weather patterns to see if travel is going to be treacherous.  AAA reported that 43.4 million Americans will be traveling 50 miles or more during the holiday weekend this year.

The price of gasoline has been dropping more and more, and is currently about $2.75 per gallon. Some are speculating that this may cause more people to be on the roads at the last minute.

I'll be in the minority on this one since I'll be sticking to the house for part of the Thanksgiving, and then going to my parent's house twenty miles down the road in Knob Noster for the other part of Thanksgiving. At least I'll be spending it with family, which is always good.

How far do you plan to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend this year?
