Guys, I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for fun event ideas.

Part of the reason for that is that I'm dating again, and I want to actually get out of the house these days.  Totally against my  normal sloth like nature, but hey.  It is what it is.  And it's surely boring to just go out to eat every Friday for a date night.  So I'm always looking for interesting, weird, new, or just new to me stuff to do.

So when I saw this online..... you could color me intrigued.  Definitely.

Pack a Picnic! We'll meet you at the gate! Upon entering you will most likely be greeted by our female alpacas who are typically very curious about a new car arriving. We'll begin our tour by hand feeding these beauties, then move on to our small animal paddock where you will meet our sheep and goats. You will be able to hand feed them through the fence as they are a bit pushy. We’ll meet our male alpacas last, give them some yummy treats then wrap up our tour.

Alpacas? Sheep? Goats? I get to PET cute animals and feed them?!! Yes.  This is top notch date material. So, I booked it!  Now, I gotta say (and this is no fault of the actual farm), booking with AirBNB is kind of a nightmare.  I had to take pictures of myself, my ID, I had to promise my first born, and a portion of my hair just to be able to select an option, but it was worth it.   So, I reserved some time at the Green Meadows Alpaca Ranch in Holden!  I even have photos to prove it.

So I would totally recommend you go! It would be really great if you have some little ones to go with you, totally fun.  It wasn't too far away, pretty straight forward to get to, and not expensive.  Win win, really.  And no, I'm not getting paid to say this, I doubt they even knew I was there (well, they knew I was there, but I don't think they knew I worked for the radio stations. It's not like I Declare It everywhere I go).   Maybe just go on a warmer day.  But yeah, 10/10 Would Get Spat On Again. Thanks a lot, Melissa and everybody at Green Meadows Alpaca Ranch!

Ranchily yours,
Behka
