In 2017, Which Team is Better-Kansas City Royals or St Louis Cardinals?
The first games of the 2017 Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues get underway this weekend. For many spring training games are the right of passage from Winter to Spring; albeit, a new beginning.
Depending on which colors you wear, you have your own opinion on how your team will do this year in their respective division. Forget the prognosticators. In our own mind we've seen the stories, read about the off-season trades and we're ready to pick in what postion our favorite team will wind up in October.
With the unfortunate death of Kansas City Royals' pitcher Yordano Ventura, KC was able to use some freed-up money to dip into the free agency well. They came up with some decent off-season acquisitions including former St. Louis first baseman/outfielder, Branson Moss.
For the Cardinals Dexter Fowler is the new guy. The new St. Louis center fielder was part of the puzzle for the 2017 World Series champions, Chicago Cubs.
Fans of both teams area scattered around Missouri and beyond state lines. Loyalty runs deep, especially as you get close to their respective cities.
Which ever team comes out on top this year, we look forward to warmer days and cold beer at Kauffman and/or Busch Stadium.
