Do you believe in ghosts? What about haunted houses? The unexplained? What do you think about the old buildings in downtown Warrensburg? Do you think they're haunted? Once again this year, you can judge for yourself during Warrensburg Mainstreet's Haunted Historic Walk.

The Haunted Historic Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 16. Tours will run approximately every ten minutes from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM CDT. Tours are limited to a maximum of 15 people. And pre-registration is required. You can sign up for a time slot on the Warrensburg Mainstreet website.

According to the Haunted Historic Walk's Facebook event page, the walk is "A guided walking tour around Downtown Warrensburg to learn about the spooky history behind the bricks of our buildings. Our Historic Walk will be an outdoor, one-mile walking tour with six spots around Downtown Warrensburg. Each stop will reenact the stories and history told of Missouri and Warrensburg's outlaws, murders, and devastating events.

Only one place in Warrensburg made Vacations Made Easy website of "20 Paranormal Places in Central Missouri You Must See Before You Die". And that place is the University of Central Missouri. They talk about Hawkins Hall, the ghost of Sarah, and the area around Yeater Hall. Then there's the article published here on the Kix 105-7 website six years ago talking about those ghosts near the railroad tracks in Warrensburg.

I mention all this to say. If the railroad tracks near Warrensburg are haunted, and parts of the University of Missouri campus are haunted. Then there's definitely some haunting going on throughout downtown Warrensburg. Take the tour. Hear some stories. And judge for yourself just how haunted downtown really is.
