Missouri Is Home to America’s Highest-Rated Costco Warehouses

If you're a brick-and-mortar business in this era good customer reviews are vital. That's good news for a number of Costco warehouses in Missouri that have just been rated among the best in America.

This new praise for Missouri Costco stores comes from Finance Buzz. They asked 5,000 Costco customers to rate their local stores on the following:

• Cleanliness
• Friendliness
• Stock
• Quality of samples
• Quantity of samples
• Parking lot quality/parking availability

With all of those factors considered, Missouri was rated as having the 6th best Costco warehouses in America. Missouri locations scored highest when it comes to cleanliness and friendliness. I'm thankful that my house was not a part of this survey, but I digress. If you look at how Missouri Costco customers rated their stores, you'll see that the state did well in all of them. The lowest ratings for Missouri stores came in the parking lot and quality of samples categories. Sample employee, you only had one job to do.

According to Costco's official website, there are currently 8 Missouri warehouses in their chain and they are all located near St. Louis, Kansas City or Springfield. I'm surprised that there is no Columbia location for mid-Missouri residents yet, but maybe they will expand that direction in the future. There is a Lake St. Louis location coming sometime in 2026 according to this video share, though.
