A new list of the 15 most historic burger places in America just shared by Cheapism includes this stop in Kansas City that's been around since 1940. They say that Winstead’s Steakburgers deserves a nod not just for their burgers, but also their famous shakes.

As you can see on their official website, Winstead's Steakburgers has kept that old-school diner interior intact over all of their decades in business at 101 Emanuel Cleaver Ii Boulevard in Kansas City and their site says they have another location in Overland Park, Kansas now, too. That's why you'll often see them featured by foodies who share their adventures online.

As the years have passed, I have become a fan of non-change. I like things the way they are and even more the way they used to be. The fact that this Kansas City, Missouri original has been recognized for that is amazing in my book.
