The infamous "Zombie Road" in Missouri now has another story to add to the legend of this trail that many believe is haunted. An overnight camper who was near this path in Missouri heard weird sounds in the night and movement in those woods.

A man named Jay has come forward and shared the story of what he experienced near "Zombie Road" (aka Rock Hollow Trail) near Wildwood, Missouri to YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory.

Jay said that he heard what he initially thought was an owl from about 8 to 10 feet up in the trees, but the sounds he heard ended with a blood-curdling scream. The owl sounds then started sounding like something else which included a type of "whoop" cry.

Jay - "At that point, when we heard that...your adrenaline sets off...it was one of the only times in my life where I've actually been terrified...I just ran as hard as I could".

This is just one of many strange encounters that Jay shared as he grew up in the "Zombie Road" area near Wildwood. His stories included some shared by family members including his uncle of strange happenings within the woods near that infamous trail.

If you have the time, I'd recommend checking out all of the episode of Sasquatch Theory that Jay was just a part of. Many like to dismiss these accounts as wild Missouri imaginations getting carried away with themselves, but there are too many (in my opinion) to ignore the reality that something odd is happening near this Missouri trail.
