Jack Hampton Morris age 82, formerly of Sedalia, died on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the home of his daughter in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on August 6, 1933 in Jefferson City, Missouri son of Lewis E. and Floy Hampton Morris. He married Freda Darlene Niederhelman in July of 1956 at Cedar City, Missouri and she preceded him in death.

He later married Juanita Morris, Sue Morris and Marlene Morris who also preceded him in death. Jack graduated from high school in Jefferson City, Missouri. He then went to U.M.K.C. Pharmacy School. He was drafted in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a Medic. After the service he continued his education and became a Pharmicist. He worked at Bing's Pharmacy for a number of years. He then was the owner and Pharmacist of the Medicine Shoppe until his retirement.

Jack later moved to Sun City, Arizona and enjoyed his life there for many years with his friends. He was a member of the Sun City Christian Church. During his life he enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. He is survived by two daughters; Julia Petree (Orval) of Sedalia, Cindy Wall (Jim) of Kansas City, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister; Bea Phelps.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Chad McMullin officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday before the service. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.

There will be full military rites at graveside by V.F.W. Post 2591 of Sedalia. Serving as pallbearers will be Orval Petree, Jim Wall, Opie Petree, Jarrod Hammond and Zachary Saajasto. You may leave condolences online at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
