Jerry Lee Brown, 69, of Sedalia passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, for a new life, on March 31, 2016 at his home, which he was very proud of, with his family by his side.  He was born on April 15, 1946 in Leavenworth, KS, the son of Horace Rudolph and Anna Marie (Vossmer) Brown, who preceded him in death.

On September 1, 1984, in Las Vegas, NV, he was united in marriage to Pamela K. Miller, who survives of the home.

Jerry served his country honorably in the US. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the American Legion Post 217 in Warsaw. He was an avid KU basketball, Kansas City Chief football, and NASCAR fan. He loved to golf, being outdoors and going camping.

He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years retiring in 2001 at the young age of 55.

Besides his wife Pamela, he is survived by six sisters, Joyce Lowe of Easton, KS, Linda Brooks (Donald) of Lansing, KS, Nancy Mazzia (Ronald) of Lansing, KS, Jean Jones (Randy) of Easton, KS, Judy Jones (Tommy) of Lansing, KS, and Rita Brown of Leavenworth, KS; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in his home town at St. Joseph of the Valley Catholic Church, Easton, KS.

There will be no family visitation

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
