A 15-year old was arrested on Tuesday regarding a bomb threat at Calhoun High School.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office says that Calhoun High School received a bomb threat just after 11:00 Monday morning (May 14).

The school was evacuated and school staff along with members of the Henry County Sheriff's Office conducted a search of the building for suspicious packages or items that were out of place.

Henry County authorities say nothing was found during the search.

The school district notified parents and class resumed for the remainder of the day.

Then on Tuesday (May 15), a 15-year-old was taken into custody regarding the bomb threat. The juvenile was reportedly released to the custody of his parent, pending action by juvenile authorities.

No names were released in the report and the investigation is continuing.
