In the short time I've been in Missouri I've grown to love K.C. Wolf, the Chiefs mascot. Then again, I've always loved teams that have mascots and do it the right way. What do I think the right way is? Think the Famous Chicken and the Phillie Phanatic. In my mind these two mascots can channel the emotions, the feelings, the essence of what it's like to live and die with a team's successes and failures and then connect with fans at anything from a game to a personal appearance. I see that with K.C. Wolf too.

I think it's these moments that make a mascot truly part of the fabric of the team and loved by fans. The good news, the Chiefs would stage an epic comeback and go on to beat the Texans 51-31 in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Next up, the Chiefs will take on the Titans Sunday at 2:05. K.C. Wolf will be right there with us living and dying with every touchdown.
