Last night the Kansas City Royals clinched their first World Series Championship in 30 years. Here is how they plan to crown Kansas City.

In true Kansas City Royals fashion, they won the World Series in extra innings thanks to another amazing comeback. The next question is how do we celebrate? With a parade, of course! The parade will take place tomorrow, November 3. It will all stat at the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City. The parade will begin a noon. It will end with a rally at 2PM at Union Station. Many Kansas City businesses and school have closed for the celebraion. Below, I have listed out the route of the parade.
  • Starting Point: Sprint Center
  • Proceed North on Grand Boulevard
  •  Turn East onto 9th street
  • Turn South on Oak Street
  • Turn West on Truman Road
  • Turn South on Grand Boulevard
  • Turn West on Pershing Road
  • End at Union Station

As someone who was born a few years after 1985, I never thought I would see the day the Royals won the World Series. I am very proud of the team. The only way it could have been better is if we had two Missouri teams fight for the Championship. The Cardinals are a great organization. Hopefully, next year, we can see a rematch of the I-70 World Series.

I am also proud of Kansas City. Last night we won as a city with class. Chief Forte tweeted to congratulate the city. There were no fights or arrests during celebrations. I know I am biased, but I think it is safe to say Kansas City is the best sports town in America. We win a World Series with class, we have the loudest stadium in all of sports, we have the best tailgating atmosphere, great support for our soccer team, and did I mention we won the WORLD SERIES! Kansas City won the series 4 games to 1. Salvador Perez was named the World Series MVP.
