Smith-Cotton High School Class of 2019 graduates Brandon and Brody Kindle have accepted athletic scholarships to play baseball at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.

Brandon is a one-year letterman in wrestling and a three-year letterman in football and baseball. He was an Ozark All-Conference running back and a West Central All-Conference honorable mention choice at running back. He also received First Team All-District honors this year in baseball. Brandon’s baseball career numbers are 81 games played, .345 career batting average, 17 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, and 53 RBI..

Brody is a two-year letterman and two-time conference champion in wrestling and a three-year letterman in baseball. He also is a three-time letterman in football where he earned WCC All-Conference honors at linebacker, All-Ozark Conference linebacker, media All District, First Team All-District linebacker, coaches’ First Team All-District linebacker, and All-State middle linebacker. Brody’s baseball career numbers are 60 games played, .275 career batting average, 10 doubles, 4 triples, 3 home runs, and 51 RBI.

S-C Baseball Head Coach Kyle Zimmerman said, “Brody and Brandon are the epitome of what our baseball program is all about. They are great teammates who show up every day and give their best effort. It has been an honor to get to coach these two and I have no doubt that they will be successful at State Fair."
