On Tuesday, Oct. 20 at around 1:45 p.m., the Pettis County Sheriff's Office received information that Richard Lee Kohrs, who had three active warrants for his arrest, was inside the Super 7 Motel, Room 112, 5650 South Limit.

It was also reported that Kohrs was suicidal and possibly armed with a firearm.

Deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers responded to the area and learned that the subject had barricaded himself inside the room.

After about three hours of negotiating and de-escalation talks through the door, Kohrs was taken into custody without incident or injury and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

He was wanted on an FTA Municipal warrant (possession of a controlled substance - $60), FTA Pettis County warrant (possession of a controlled substance ($50,000), and an FTA Pettis County warrant ($3500).
