The Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers swimming team finished second in a seven-team field in Wednesday's meet at Raytown High School.

The host school took first with 410 points, while S-C was just behind them with 399 points. Raytown South's 307 points were good enough for third place.

For S-C, Hunter Sparks took first place in the 100-yard backstroke and Maggie Sparks was second in the 200-yard individual medley. The Lady Tigers swept the one-meter diving event, with Autumn Bauer taking first, followed by Lauryn Caldwell and Calyssa Plymell.
