Larry Wayne Paul Thompson age 77 of Houstonia died on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

He was born on August 18, 1936 in Warsaw, MO son of John Erving and Frances Flanagan Thompson. He was married on March 28, 1959 in Pensacola, Florida to Mary Ann Regits and she survives of the home. Larry attended school in Sedalia.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked at Waterloo Industries, and owned TNT Construction.

Larry enjoyed growing things for the farmers market and going fishing. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter; Rose Ann Thompson (John) of Hughesville, two sons; William W. Thompson of Austin, TX, Robert Joseph Paul Thompson of Warsaw, one brother; Frederick Thompson of Leavenworth, KS, one sister; Waneta Smith of Henrietta, TX, five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Lewis Thompson, two sisters; Geneva Sublett and Pauline Seaman.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Pastor Casey Henry officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tristan Thompson, Skylir Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Deke Cox, Benny Hunter, Hunter Thompson.

Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery. Full Military Honor's by V.F.W. Post 2591. Memorials may be given to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. You may leave condolences online at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
